_58 Autumn Colours with Jan and Mihai

03/10/14

Route map here

Me and Jan planned to go for a couple of hours ride up in Bymarka in the afternoon before I went off up north for round two of construction in the arctic, this time we were joined by another Trondheim local, Mihai.

Mihai complained a lot about the distance we planned to cover so we cut a few sections out of the planned route and took the easiest way to the top, he ended up being plenty fit enough for the route we did anyway! We went striaght up to the top of Grakallen, down the rather wet and slipper track to the Koberdammen which resulted in a full 180 skid for both me and Jan in exactly the same place, back up to Geitfjellet but this time all the way to the top which contains a couple of rather interesting technical parts to get down and then finally the long path all the way back down into the city that I have done a few times now and am starting to learn which is getting faster and faster!

I have kept this old number board for ages with the intention of making a mud guard and finally made it yesterday, lovely matching colours with my frame!
