Route map here

It is Sunday and uni starts again tomorrow, therefore I have been inside all day doing a bit of uni work, it got to about 5pm and I decided to go explore in my garden (as its huuuge), just go get outside for an hour. Well I found a trail in my garden which ran all the way down the side of one of the waterfalls therefore I had to run and get my bike to have a ride down it!

Once again riding in the sun set! It is a very cool sun set as the sun goes down behind the mountain it gives a really strong ‘ray’ of light over the city, there is a real distinction between light and dark.

Ohhh look what I found in the woods!

Well I found the top of the trail that runs away down towards my house, however I found something else too! On the other side of the road there was a track that wound its way away up into the trees with plenty of tyre marks, so I had to go and have a look at this too!

Ohhh look what I found in the woods! Nice bit of northshore, a shame the part I was standing on had fallen down, but it was not rotten so I am sure we could re build it!

The further I walked up it, the more I found, it turned into a proper built track, there were berms, jumps, northshore, all sorts. Definitely a good find! I decided, since the track had some really flat/dry corners to see how low I could run the pressure on my tyres since I had gone tubeless recently, so I let a LOT of air out of my tyres and set off away down.

Many corners later and I crossed the road and over onto the tiiiny little trail that runs down the side of the waterfalls. You would not spot it unless you knew it was there really. Its pretty good fun, you can not get so much speed up, but its interesting and keeps you on your toes as it is VERY skinny and there is sometimes a good 5 or 6 metres drop away down to the side if you slip off before you are in the drink!

My Garden! can you believe it?!

This part was so steep it could easily be part of the Andorran DH World Cup track!

The last part is particularly interesting! VERY steep!! I had a go at riding it, well no I had a go at skidding down it, I sort of half made it down but with great difficulty… another time.

Went to open my gate and say this, hmmm where did that happen?!

I like this a lot! That there is a fantastic trail that ends right in my garden (my garden is bloody enormous though), what more could you ask for?!
