_22 Les Quatre Seigneurs/ Exploring Behind My House

Today I had sat inside all day and decided finally to go for a ride quite late in the day, squeeze something in before the sun goes down! It ended up  being a rather nice ride in the sunset, even if the last part of the descent was virtually in darkness. I though I might pop up behind my house and have a go on another new trail but since the light was fading I ended up just doing the few trails that I already know on this hill and then also the one that brings me almost back to my house which I had wanted to have a go on for a while.

This is from Le Muirer looking over the villages that I went exploring a couple of days ago (No. _20 I think) and Belledonne up begind.

A very bright sun just before it slipped down behind the big mountain that sits to the West of Grenoble La Moucherotte, a good 1800m high which I rode a couple of times before the snow came, descending form the top of there to the city is fantastic as it is so long and it has a bit of every type of trail on the way down.

I was trying to catch the how orange the sun was on the higher mountains but the photo does not show it so well, unfortunately is because of the amount of pollution in the city, not so good.

I thought this house was particularly french looking at the top of the ascent to Les Quatre Seigneurs. I did not really take any photos of the downhill as it is one that has appeared before and I am sure it will appear again and it was also getting quite dark! I also rode down like a wimp because I had just full cleaned my bike to within an inch of its life and every time there was a bit of mud I was going at snail pace so as not to get my bike muddy… Ha! Gayyyy!
